A carved and lacquered wood couplet comprising two tall convex panels each carved with seven calligraphic marks finished in gilt and red with the remainder of the panels in black lacquer, each with iron scrolling hanging hardware at top.
Bottom medallions feature double happiness and longevity symbol surrounded by bats symbolizing longevity and good fortune.
